Bronze & Silver Arts Award Adviser Training - 17 November 2016
Develop young people’s creativity and reward achievement with Arts Award. This course is for adults who want to become Bronze and Silver Arts Award advisers.
Do you work with young people aged 11 to 25? Support their creative development with Arts Award. Train as an Arts Award Bronze & Silver adviser and learn everything you need to deliver these unique qualifications, which are accredited on the Qualifications and Credit Framework at Levels 1 and 2 respectively.
This course is suitable for anyone who works with young people aged 11-25 and meets the requirements outlined in the adviser person specification including teachers and teaching assistants, youth workers and arts co-ordinators and arts and music professionals.
Arts Award is open to young people of all interests and backgrounds, and can be delivered within a variety of settings and timescales through any arts, cultural or media activity.
Note: The sessions taking place on the 24th June at Graeae theatre company is a SEN training which has the specific focus of delivering Arts Award with young people with learning difficulties. Examples and case studies will be drawn from projects involving young people with learning difficulties in schools and informal youth settings from across the region.
