Southwark Arts Award Network Cluster Meeting - 29 November 2017

Delivery models for the EPQ and Arts Award Gold as a creative alternative

This is a network meeting to explore How the Gold Arts Award can be used as a creative alternative to the EPQ in education settings, and how delivery models can be aligned.

Mercedes Gallego, from City of London Academy, will talk about their delivery model for the EPQ.

Lesley Samms from Eastbourne College will talk about their model of delivery, and the benefits, of the Gold Arts Award.

There will then be group discussions about the benefits of the two qualifications, effective delivery models, and the possibility of running them side by side, with the Gold Arts Award as a viable alternative to the EPQ.

All those attending are invited to share their practice.

Refreshments will be provided.

The meeting is aimed at heads of 6th form and, 6th form and FE tutors, those delivering the EPQ and Gold Arts Award in education settings.
