Brent 2020, London Borough of Culture - CPD: Creativity for Wellbeing - 18 March 2020

Brent 2020, London Borough of Culture - CPD #4 Creativity for Wellbeing - FREE FOR ALL BRENT EDUCATORS

Join us for an evening of relaxation, with a free sound bath to help you de-stress!

Fellow teacher Hannah Peaty will share good practice and ideas on wellbeing for pupils, including a guided meditation – all tried, tested and successful in Soho Parish Primary.

After, an experienced sound bath facilitator will invite you to lie down or sit comfortably and breathe deeply as he plays different musical instruments. You will be encouraged to relax while and observing feelings and sensations during the sound journey. The effects that the attendees normally experience are deep body relaxation and an empty and clear mind. Often, the participants forget about daily stresses and troubles. Sound baths are also considered to be beneficial to sleep, digestion, and memory.

Herbal teas and fruit refreshments will be available.

Venue Access: Please let us know if you have any access requirements when booking.
