This essay discusses partnerships between creative practitioners and teachers from an Early Years setting and a Secondary school in North London, developed in 2007/8. The outcomes of these partnerships were primarily focused on professional development for teachers who wish to explore creativity within their practice.

The learning that results from these partnerships includes the value of creating space for reflection between partners and the value of different or new perspectives on practice, such as those gained during an international visit/networking opportunity.

Further questions about partnership practices are included at the end of the essay exploring greater impacts through working together.
