Reflections contains seven essays and think pieces that investigates A New Direction's largest Olympic themed programme. Reworking the traditional Creative Partnerships Enquiry Schools programme format, The Biggest Learning Opportunity on Earth (BigLop) offered schools fourteen different Creative Partnerships projects to select from.
Each project explored a different opportunity that the Olympics brings to London, connected to the Every Child Matters framework of outcomes for young people, and delivered by fourteen high quality London arts organisations.
These short essays look at the partnership methodology adopted by A New Direction and analyses the outcomes for the partner organisations, particularly in terms of professional development and the impacts on the organisations' sustainability.
