Managed by A New Direction and CREATE the programme aims to help tackle youth unemployment through bringing a new cohort of untapped talent into the dynamic arts and creative industries.
Over the next 3 years CREATE Jobs will offer a range of options ranging from intensive apprenticeships to short-term work experience. Some of these opportunities will carry accreditation and be linked to qualifications and further and higher education.
Started in 2011 the programme is part of the surge of interest in East London as a result of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and uses London 2012 as a springboard of opportunity for hard to reach young people.
Through CREATE Jobs, we aim to bring a new cohort of young people into the arts and creative industries, and diversifying the workforce.
