Inspire Talk Panel at the BBC Radio 1 Academy
Joe Mason, one of our young Social Media Journalists, will be on the Inspire Talk Panel at the BBC Radio 1 Academy with BBC journalists on Wednesday 13 June, discussing the upcoming Two Nations event at the Freeword Centre.
He will be sitting alongside CEO of the BBC Caroline Thomson and Michael Buchanan (BBC journalist) and Benji Lanyado in front of a 100 strong audience. Read about the Radio 1 Hackney Academy.
The BBC Radio 1 Academy takes place on Wednesday 13 June at Hackney Picture House (1.00-2.00pm).
Two Nations is a Headstart inquiry into who Londoners want to win at the Olympics and why. Taking place at the Freeword Centre on 21 June 2012, there will be performances from poets and performers James Massiah, Hannah Lowe, and Jasmine Cooray, with more speakers and acts to be confirmed.
