The Room of Many Me's is an essay that explores the development of a collaboration between Creative Partnerships London East and Graeae, the UK's leading disabled theatre company.
The project was designed as a creative learning experience for pupils based on Graeae's core philosophy of the aesthetics of access which in itself is rooted in a diversity of communication styles.
The project -which took place in three schools in London, two special schools in Islington and one primary school in Tower Hamlets- encouraged young people to engage their imaginations and gain greater understanding of accessibility issues and disabilities.
Some of the outcomes of The Room of Many Me's include the opportunity to share work across schools and the development of respect for people with disabilities and learning differences.
