Dreamachine

A unique learning experience connecting pupils across the four nations of the UK

In 2022, children and young people across the UK will join together to explore the wonder of how they perceive and create the world around them. The Dreamachine learning programme will connect thousands of schools and pupils across the four nations of the UK.

Developed by A New Direction in partnership with the British Science Association and UNICEF UK, the learning programme offers a variety of exciting ways for schools to engage with the ideas, themes and possibilities of Dreamachine, exploring questions such as:

‘How do I see the world around me?’
‘How do others see the world?’
‘How are we all connected?’

The programme includes a new collection of free learning resources, CPD experiences for teachers, and opportunities for schools to connect across the UK – supporting creativity and curriculum learning, as well as wellbeing, citizenship and STEAM.
