According to a study by the University of Southampton, in 2015 only a fifth of all production personnel in the film industry were female, and of those women just 1.5% were from black and ethnic minority backgrounds. Read more

John Whittingdale has extended the terms of appointment of Joe Docherty, Peter Phillips, Sheila Healy and Professor Jon Cook by six months and the term of appointment of Alistair Spalding by five months, all until 30 September 2017. Read more
