Our schools conference, Arts and Culture Action, took place at the British Library on 16 October 2014 and was attended by teachers from schools across London.
Arts Council England is currently updating Artsmark so that it can be as effective as possible in helping to achieve the ambition of ensuring all children and young people have access to high quality arts and culture.
Applications are now open for the 2013/14 academic year (Round 14).
During the 2012/13 academic year, 112 schools successfully applied for Artsmark, with 78 achieving Gold - a fantastic achievement, and the highest in the country.
Plans are afoot for our next Schools Forum event – a chance for schools to come together for an afternoon exploring and sharing best practice in delivering arts and cultural activity.

We were delighted to welcome over 100 schools to our conference, Creative Schools London, at the British Library on 11 October.

The artwork of pupils involved in our Heritage Lottery funded Stratford Explorers project has been turned in to a beautiful exhibition about the history of Stratford.
