In her latest piece for TES, our Chair, Professor Maggie Atkinson, takes a look at what changes in government personel means for children and young people.

While she praises the enlivened debate and conversation which has emerged around social mobility, she also questions the government's 'incessant English fascination with grammar schools'.

'[I]s this where we should be focusing our energy if we are serious about improving social mobility?', she writes.
