Creativity Works: Photography WEEK 4

This week the crits continued!

The participants are drawing closer to their virtual exhibition and bringing their idea and story behind legacy to life.

The crit sessions with Newsha are always a delight as the group get to witness the journey and the process behind creating great work and meeting a brief.

However, crits are not all we got up to this week, we had an awesome lighting and studio session with The Photography Foundation; Bella and Gian took us through all the basics in a studio, different lights, stands, safety measures and taught us how to set up a studio portrait shot!

We rounded up our week with a lovely talk from Amara Eno a phenomenal photographer based in London and Photographic Producer for the British Red Cross.

Amara’s storytelling focuses predominantly within the areas of documentary, portraiture, and reportage; exploring human relationships and matters within the communities she encounters, and her work has been shared all across the globe!

Amongst many other achievements Amara was recognised as BJP Portrait of Britain winner in 2018 and continues to excel in her craft.

Coming up this week the participants will be having more 1:1 crits with Newsha to go over their final edits in preparation for the virtual exhibition, we are on the final lap!
