We understand that focusing on your wellbeing and mental health can be challenging. We want to signpost you to some of A New Direction’s helpful resources which focus on these areas. These offer everyone including teachers, young people, and creatives different methods and techniques to look after themselves and the communities they live and work in. We encourage you to check in on your neighbours, colleagues, friends and families and remember to look after yourselves and each other.


Radical Self Care Journal

Our Radical Self Care Journal is designed as an intentional space to discover new ways of nourishing and nurturing your mental and physical well-being, to elevate your current practice, and to reflect on how this work can be expanded. There are also further resources highlighted as a downloadable PDF, which signpost to mental health and wellbeing resources, apps and more.

Creative Wellbeing at Home

In collaboration with Nimble Fish, these video resources offer participants a chance to take stock and recalibrate, with each one being built around an arts-led leadership or wellbeing activity that can be done anytime, anywhere, and with minimum resources.
