The Big Change Series #1: CREATE - 18 July 2018

The Big Change Series is designed to support London’s cultural sector with a space for innovation, challenge and learning.

In 2018-19 the series will be underpinned by the theme of equity in the creation and influence of, and access to; arts and culture for children and young people in London.

This session will focus on the freedom to develop our practice as cultural, arts and heritage educators, and the power of peer learning.

The event will feature:

  • The Creative Exchange Lab: A supportive space to workshop ideas, sound out strategies and gain peer feedback

  • An introduction to the Small Change Programme: This CPD programme is designed to help cultural organisations act and work together with others to support a step change in cultural education in London. It is based on an action learning method and turns the usual approach to change on its head. Dawn Langley will be launching Expressions of Interest, with a small taster introduction
  • An introduction to A New Direction’s programmes: including priorities and plans for the year, and insights from our area-based and schools work.

Please note: whilst all of our events are free, there is a cancellation fee of £30 for this event if you cancel within 24 hours of the event or do not attend. Please email if you are no longer able to attend but have booked a ticket.
