We’re delighted to announce that our I Am Festival, 11 – 13 March, is opening its doors to you!
This year, in partnership with Tate Modern, we are inviting our peers from across the cultural sector to come and take a peek at the artists and companies bringing together Deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent children and young people from across London to celebrate creativity and collaboration.
This year's festival explores the theme of Journeys, showcasing diverse artistic voices and inclusive approaches to creative practice.

- Starship Biscuit workshop with Touretteshero
- Mini-mob & making session with VOOT Collective
- Bird Puppet workshop and animation with artist Shermaine Slocombe
- Sensory Object workshop with Heart n Soul and Feel Good Designers, alongside artists India Harvey and Rose Ridgway.
- Portrait making workshop with The Complete Works
- Tate Gallery Exploration - artworks selected by the Cultural Ambassadors

The festival is open 10:30-2:00pm
You can come anytime, wander throughout the spaces as you wish and talk to the team. Please select an approximate arrival time below so we can welcome you. NB. Schools activities are in two sessions 10:00-11:30 & 12:30 -2:00
These spaces are aimed at professionals working in educational settings and across the cultural sector who would like to find out more about the I Am programme, meet a small range of schools and students as well as our partner artists.

About the I Am Festival
I Am Festival 2026 is our yearly celebration empowering Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent young people to explore their creativity. Over this week we anticipate we will host over 300 Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent young people from a wide variety of London’s education settings.
