Pegasus Opera celebrates the music of rich African, Asian, and Caribbean diasporas using creativity to challenge and advocate for positive change.
They hope to collaborate with a school by empowering their pupils to explore new cultural activities through the art of opera – from decolonising the music curriculum to inspiring children and young people to create and perform their own operas based on themes that matter to them. They have been creatively tackling equality and diversity barriers for years and would love the opportunity to share this experience with a school.
