Central North-West London Arts Award Network Cluster Meeting
A seminar for schools and cultural sector organisations interested in developing their Arts Award offer
With the recent focus on home learning due to COVID-19, there is an increasing development of arts and cultural learning resources and activities by organisations available online and as physical packs.
Now is a good time for trained Arts Award Advisers to explore how they can support children and young people to take part in and achieve Arts Award, which may be through remote support, outside of their setting.
Hear approaches to delivering Arts Award remotely and share your reflections and ideas to explore if there could be local, joined-up approaches, so that more children and young people can benefit from any opportunities that arise.
This event aims to bring together Arts Awards Advisers, school teachers, arts educators and practitioners and those that work in arts and cultural education to explore where there are opportunities for joined up approaches to deliver an Arts Award Offer.
The Central North West London Arts Award Network works across the boroughs of Camden, Islington, Haringey, Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea. The network cluster works with key partners from each borough including local authorities, Local Cultural Education Partnerships (LCEPs), schools, cultural organisations, youth centres, sector support organisations and charities to support and promote cultural education and engagement.
This online event is aimed at anyone working across these sectors within the five cluster boroughs.
A full list of speakers and an agenda will be sent out closer to the event.
This event is supported by A New Direction.
