Central North-West London Arts Award Network Cluster Meeting - 11 February 2020
Join Camden Spark at this event organised for the Arts Award Network Cluster for central north-west London to explore strategies for enhancing the cultural offer for pupils across the school curriculum.
This will be a chance to hear from a range of leaders working at both local and national level - sharing advice and good practice, and some insights into innovative approaches for developing a cultural curriculum. We will be designing workshop activities to give all attendees a chance to participate and steer the agenda, and there will be opportunities for informal networking to develop and strengthen partnerships and support networks.
The event is best suited to primary and secondary headteachers, senior leaders, curriculum leads and teachers, and would also be of interest to education and learning managers from cultural organisations, working within the five cluster boroughs who:
- are keen to hear about innovative approaches to developing a cultural curriculum
- want to find out more about the local cultural learning offer for schools, and identify funding opportunities
- are interested in connecting across the sector to discuss good practice and learn from peers and practitioners
- are interested in discussing current policy developments in the sector
The central north-west London Arts Award Cluster Network works across the boroughs of Camden, Islington, Haringey, Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea. The Network Cluster works with key partners from each borough including local authorities, Local Cultural Education Partnerships (LCEPs), schools, cultural organisations, youth centres, sector support organisation and charities to support and promote cultural education and engagement.
A full list of speakers and an agenda will be sent out closer to the event.
This event is supported by A New Direction and our hosts at Royal Opera House.
