Brent 2020, London Borough of Culture - Cultural Connections
How will your school get involved with the borough of culture for Brent 2020?
Come along to our free Cultural Connections networking event on Thursday 7th May to find partners, artists, programmes and workshops to engage your children in the arts! This will be the last event in our Cultural Connection series for Brent 2020 where there will be pitches, so please don't miss out.
Previous events have been successful with linking teachers and EYFS educators to a variety of museums, art galleries, freelance artists and creative offers ranging from performing arts to visual projects. This is a great chance to get inspiration for projects for our Brent 2020 Take Part festival in summer.
There will be time for networking over wine and nibbles after the pitches to enable people to seek out those offers they want to find out more about.
We welcome schools to pitch too - this is your chance to explain directly to the cultural sector what you need for your school. Or you might want to share what you have already been up to this year to inspire other educators. If you are a Brent educator and want to pitch please email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Wine and refreshments will be provided.
Sign up here now to get your free ticket.
Are you a cultural / arts organisation or museum and want to get involved?
You are welcome to attend and network, please sign up here on Eventbrite. If you would like to pitch, in addition to booking here then please complete our application form to register your interest by Friday 20th March: http://bit.ly/pitchBrent2020
Please note that we do not guarantee pitch slots. We need to ensure a variety of art forms are represented so will review the applications and make a selection based on our criteria - we will be in touch in April to let you know if you have been selected to pitch at this event. This will be the last opportunity to pitch directly to schools for Brent 2020.
