North-east London Arts Award Network Cluster Meeting - 06 June 2019
Join us for the North London Arts Award Network Event and Creative Schools Event, a partnership event from Creative Schools and the Local Area Arts Award Network from A New Direction
This free session is best for educators and organisations working across all key stages and arts disciplines who are looking to integrate arts into their classrooms working across North East London.
Arrival at 16.15 for a 16.30 start
16.30-17.00 Hear more about what is new with Arts Award, Creative Schools and find out about upcoming projects and opportunities for schools
17.00-18.00 Take part in an interactive Skills Session for teachers on Algorithmic Art; a practical session on how to combine Art, Mathematics and Coding with ideas and inspiration to take back to your schools. Led by A Little Learning.

Arts Award is a nationally recognised qualification for children and young people aged 5 – 25 offering five different levels: Discover, Explore, Bronze, Silver and Gold.The Arts Award network in North East London targets but is not limited to the following boroughs: Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Redbridge, Waltham Forest, Newham, Barking and Dagenham, Havering and City of London. The Network is run by A Little Learning funded by A New Direction.
Creative Schools is an innovative programme that supports schools to tackle challenges and seed change through the arts via our network of over 40 top arts and creative learning organisations. The programme helps school leaders to find new approaches to school improvement through consultation with us and offers match funding for schools to commission creative projects that meet their wider needs. Since 2015 we have worked with over 99 schools and 5000 pupils across east London. Together we are making east London schools more creative!
