When someone visits www.anewdirection.org.uk we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
As part of the registration process for our monthly e-newsletters, we collect the following information:

We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. Sender.net are compliant with the GDPR, see their privacy notice for more information. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our Data Protection Lead, Jim Beck.

We use social media to broadcast messages and updates about events and news. On occasion we may reply to comments or questions you make to us on social media platforms. You may also see adverts from us on social media that are tailored to your interests.
Depending on your settings and the privacy policies used by social media and messaging services like Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter, we may receive non-personally identifying demographic or analytical information from these services that enables us to better understand the reach and effectiveness of our advertising.
We may share anonymised personal information with other organisations, particularly Arts Council England, who use this to analyse our audience development programmes, ticket sales and self-generated funding to understand the impact of the public investment made in A New Direction.Many of the events run by A New Direction and our employability programme, Create Jobs, are presented in partnership with other companies. We will let them know about your booking and share your name and contact details with them, but they can’t contact you unless you have provided explicit consent when booking. We will not share sensitive information or any payment details.
How we keep your details safe and secure
Your personal data will be held and processed on A New Direction’s customer relationship management (CRM) system – a third party service called Salesforce. We have a Data Processor agreement with Salesforce that meets data protection requirements. We maintain this system to hold contact details and a record of your interactions with A New Direction and our programmes, such as attendance at events and meetings, memberships, queries, and complaints.
We always seek to hold your data securely. Access to customer information is strictly controlled and the CRM system can only be accessed by A New Direction staff members.
Access to your personal information
