Key activities:
- Assist with event administration, including managing bookings using tools such as Eventbrite and Doodle polls, and supporting the hosting of online events on Zoom and GoToWebinar
- Promote River Recovery project events through TDP website, social media, events listings and local network
- Provide high-quality customer service to volunteers, participants and attendees
Support the project team with event organisation (including venue hire, refreshments, organising equipment and resources, and volunteer rotas) - Support the project team with event delivery, including guided walks, archaeological fieldwork, online and in person talks and workshops.
- Assist with monitoring and evaluating project events, including maintaining accurate records and collating feedback
The role will be home-based for the duration of COVID-19 restrictions, with flexible home/office working available once restrictions are lifted. Office working will be based at Mortimer Wheeler House, 46 Eagle Wharf Road, London, N1 7ED.
The role will involve frequent travel to sites and venues within Greater London. Weekend, evening and early morning work will be common to support working with volunteers and community groups, and to deliver events on the Thames foreshore at low tide. Flexibility with working hours will be required and expected, with time off in lieu given for working outside normal working hours.
