The NON LINEAR curriculum is structured to be experiential and immersive – encouraging participants to ‘learn by doing’. You will hear from experts and apply what’s taught in real-time. The curriculum has 4 distinct phases:
1. DISCOVER
Broadening and deepening your understanding of the creative sector and your role within it. Determining your ambitions through the development of a project with an industry professional; engaging with different creative practitioners, companies, and organisations that are an active part of the sector.
2. DEFINE
Using the insights gathered from the discovery phase to define an area of opportunity for you. Positioning yourself in the industry – how do I currently position myself? how can I define a role? what do I need to do and learn? Technical know-how (Hard Skills – editing, photoshop, excel, coding). Improve your professional and peer networks.
3. DEVELOP
Collaborating with other participants. Develop an individual project within a group. Broadening your personal development within the creative industry. Upskilling and networking. Build real world experience through responding to a live industry brief.
4. DELIVER
Exploring multiple ideas, testing them, and learning from feedback before delivering on a live brief set by a creative business.
