To explore how working from the body can help to enrich vocabulary and support greater motivation for writing.

Project update after school visits

  • A Year 5 class is finding new ways into writing and story making via this term’s topic: The Mayans
  • This approach to story and writing development is an interesting cross-art model of practice, combining immersive space (visual art), physicalised character development (movement and drama), and question ‘stations’ (creative writing)
