A New Direction takes the Arts Award forward for London

From May 2010, A New Direction, the strategic body for connecting young Londoners with the city's creative and cultural energy, will be the official development agency for the established Arts Award for young people across London.

Caroline Bray, London's Arts Award Regional Development Co-ordinator, will continue in her role but will transfer as a member of staff to A New Direction. Nine Regional Development Co-ordinators support the award in each English region.

A New Direction's work is driven by young Londoners, with a strong focus on supporting young people in the development of skills related to employment within the creative and cultural sectors and beyond.
