Inspired by sculptures such as The Thinker and The Angel of the North, the first film by Ifthekar Ahmed uses locations in London to depict himself as a statue in different stages of a creative journey. The film uses a quote from Diana Ross as it's starting point - "My travels led me to where I am today. Sometimes these steps have felt painful, difficult, but led me to greater happiness and opportunities"
The second film by Adiyatu Balde, shows Adiyatu leaving her home in Westminster to take us on a journey around her London. We visit a film set in Bethnal Green, a magazine office in Brixton and a green grocers in Fulham Broadway where Adi works part-time.
The third film by Eugene Osei depicts his pen and camera as the tools of his creativity and London as his subject and inspiration. The film includes references to Dziga Vertov's 1929 silent documentary, Man with a Movie Camera.
