(The Weekly Resource blog series - highlighted examples from our library of resources, spanning 10 years of Creative Partnerships and beyond.)
----------------------------------------
The resource presents six key ideas from presentations and discussions that took place in our first Schools Forum of the year in February 2013.
It highlights different and successful ways to create effective partnerships between schools and the arts & cultural sector.
At the Schools Forum, presentations from Tate, Sadler's Wells, Apples and Snakes, and the Roundhouse with Haverstock School (based in Camden) highlighted different approaches to partnership working and shared good practice.
Following the presentations, a series of group discussions about six themes identified by Creative Practitioners took place. They involved 35 teachers and Local Authority Representatives and 14 arts and cultural organisations.
Effective Partnership Working gives an insight into the benefits of partnership working, ways to nurture the partnership and ensuring the sustainability of the creative achievement.
We hope you find this resource useful!
