Heritage INSET

Led by visual artist Abigail Hunt, this workshop will consider how we can maximise the potential of a school visit to a museum or gallery. Using the Museum of London as an inspirational example, you will explore the possibilities of using real objects and practical museum activities to expand ideas and thinking beyond the clipboard and worksheet.

Reinforcing ideas around heritage and the legacy of physical objects that we experience in a museum, this session will equip you with practical and realistic activities to translate back to the classroom and for use with a group during a museum or gallery visit.
