About the show
A jolly day of first-class fun at The Postal Museum. Step inside a much-loved story in an interactive show to help The Jolly Postman deliver the post for fairytale characters. Journey underground on the Mail Rail Ride, get dressed for the job and move the mail in Sorted! The Postal Play Space and explore The Jolly Postman – 40th anniversary exhibition. Each visit day will include the following:

Mail Rail Ride and exhibition – 45 minutes
The Jolly Postman exhibition – 30 minutes

The museum is set over 2 sites, The Postal Museum and Mail Rail. These buildings are separated by Phoenix Place, a public road.
The Postal Museum, Archive, and Mail Rail exhibitions are accessible to wheelchair users. Due to health and safety requirements, there is restricted access to the Mail Rail ride.
Wheelchairs are not permitted on the Mail Rail ride. The Mail Rail ride may be unsuitable for small children, those with physical or mobility issues, claustrophobia, or a pre- existing condition that could be made worse by loud noises, flashing lights or confined spaces.
A virtual tour is available in the exhibition space for anyone unable to ride the train.
Children must be accompanied on the train ride – school adults must be able to accompany pupils as museum staff will be unable to do so.
A lunch space is available at this venue.
