A New Direction is offering support to schools and other organisations that already deliver Arts Award with large groups of young people (25+ per moderation) to pilot new ways of expanding their activity to higher levels of the award.
This pilot aims to expand the arts award offer in existing Arts Award centres that deliver one level of Arts Award with a large group (more than 25 young people). The purpose of this pilot is to support these centres to develop and implement further levels of the award within their curriculum or offer.
To do this, A New Direction has developed a flexible menu of options, up to the value of £1810.00 per pilot to support schools and cultural organisations to further embed Arts Award within their delivery.
Arts Award inspires young people to grow their arts and leadership talents: it is creative, valuable and accessible. Arts Award can be achieved at five levels, Discover, Explore, Bronze, Silver and Gold.
